WHO ARE THE BAND OF SISTERS?

Band Of Sisters are a wonderful, God blessed and Spirit driven band of sisters. That is who you are!
You are precious and God wants you to know that you are PRECIOUS in His eyes. God said this about you; " Since you are precious and honoured in my sight. I will give men in exchange for you and people in exchange for your life" Isaiah 43:4 What an awesome declaration?

What are band of sisters?
They are women called by God to join hands together in fellowship, having a common purpose [Like the Precious Woman Group], speaking to one another in love and with love. Sharing an authentic lifestyle with purpose, forming a meaningful community and reaching out to one another, supporting each other, helping one another and walking together in spirit & in truth.

Who are our Biblical Examples?
Many band of women have walked this walk before our time and the Bible is full of them. Their commitment and sense of purpose and duty distinguished them and their band of sisters from all the other women of their times. They were the imperfect ones in the eyes of the world! They are the broken ones, seen as sinners and unworthy but once healed, they banded together and followed Jesus everywhere, supporting His ministry.

These are awesome women & worthy examples!
□Devoted, loyal and faithful to the very end! [Mark 24v1-10]
□They were noticed at His side during his crucifixion and His death! [Matthew 27v61]
□They were at the tomb side and first at hand when Jesus rose from death! [Mk 16v1-8]
□It was to these band of Jesus' women that the Angel of the Lord, FIRST announced the Good News of resurrection!

□Mary Magdalene & her band of sisters including the Virgin Mary, Mary the Mother of the Jones', etc [Matthew 27v61; 28v1;Mark 16v1-8]
□Miriam [Moses's sister] & her band of women [Exodus 15v20-21]
□Dorcas & the band of widows [Acts 9:38-41] and many, many more other.

Women who received/fought for their rights & inheritance & for their sisters:
□Zelophedad's daughters [Numbers 27v1 & numbers 36v1-13]
□Daughter,s of Job [Job 42v13-15]

What do we stand for & what is our purpose?
Like Zelophedad’s daughters above, who took their case to Moses and to God to get a fair share of their inheritance, we are called by God as PRECIOUS WOMEN to stand in the gap to raise the next generation and for our other broken sisters living in cardboard boxes, poverty, sickness, brokenness, domestic violence, experiencing rape, violation and rejection all over the world. We are called out for such a time as this to take their case to God in prayers and to encourage them in their walk by supporting them prayerfully, financially and in every way possible so that that too may come to realize and accept that they are precious! That is our calling! That is why we have been called out to form these groups.

What is our goal?
Whilst the Precious Woman Group may have the appearance of a social group with friends gathering together to have a good time, It is also important to be focused on the REAL PURPOSE which mainly is:
To fellowship together through Christ Jesus.
Join forces to help other women & sisters rise out of their poor circumstances and become over comers also.
Grow together stronger in your natural & spiritual walk in Christ.
Become a support structure to one another in good & bad times.
To form a community for life and engage in building a Kingdom bond.

What binds us together?
□What binds us together is our commonality of purpose which is to help each other and to help our sisters in need.
□Our determination to be solution oriented and not be self seeking.
□Our service to God is the highest ideal that binds us together as true band of sisters in Christ.

What do we do?-Our activities?
□We meet regularly & fellowship together.
□We pray for each other & for our families.
□We encourage one another in Christ.
□We seek to form a community of women, bonding in Christ.
□We are always there for one another, in all circumstances, good & bad.
□We support one another in every God given way possible.
□We build each other up, morally and spiritually.
□We stand strong together.
□We break bread regularly and share in love feasts [Tea parties] together.
□We mentor one another in love and in Christ.
□We watch out for each other & are willing to correct one another in love.
□We give each other permission to get to know one another better.
What are our qualities?
□We are prayer warriors. [James 5v16-17]
□We are to be true and honest with one another.
□We are committed to friendship in Christ for life not just for a season.
□Openness, honesty of intent & purpose and transparency must exist in us.
□We are willing to LOVE one another and to walk in LOVE. [John 15v15-16]

What is our highest purpose?
Help all our all sisters, heal the broken, build up the weak & save souls!
What we must not do at all?
True band of sisters will not hurt one another, gossip, be malicious to the other or walk in un-forgiveness. [1Timothy 5v13]
True band of sisters will not seek to hate or hurt one another.
True band of sisters NEVER let each other down. [Titus 2v9]
True band of sisters are NOT selfish or self seeking.

Can we do this Precious Women?
Yes, we can!
We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus! [Romans 8v37]
